The 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine of the Kiger generates 71 bhp of power with a peak torque of 96 Nm. This same engine is offered in the Renault Triber and higher trims of the Renault Kwid. It gets mated to a 5-speed manual transmission as standard and gets an AMT as an option. The ARAI certified mileage of the Kiger sticks to 19.17 kmpl for the manual and 19.03 kmpl for the AMT.

This three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol motor of the Kiger belts out 99 bhp of power on tap with a maximum torque of 160 Nm. The peak torque with the CVT unit sticks to 152 Nm. Renault Kiger 1.0L turbo-petrol delivers a mileage of 20.53 kmpl for the manual and 18.24 kmpl with the CVT.
