The 1.0-liter normal petrol unit registered a jump of Rs.26,290 to Rs, 50,000. The range for this powertrain now lies between Rs. 6.5 lakh to Rs. 9.57 lakhs ex-showroom. On top of this, the RXL Manual variant has now been discontinued.

The turbo variant unlike the normal petrol, keeps all its variants intact. The quantum of the price hike for the turbo ranges from Rs. 36,290 to Rs. 68,000. This revision now makes the highest price tag for the Kiger to touch Rs. 11.22 lakhs ex-showroom. The highest increase was seen on the RXT (O) Dual-Tone Automatic.
VERDICT- As a part of the technical overhaul and rising costs, almost all manufacturers are following a similar trend of price revision.
