Adding to its vintage charm, the bike rolls on wire-spoked wheels, with a 19-inch front and 18-inch rear setup wrapped in MRF tyres. The twin chrome exhausts and a wider rear fender further improve its bold stance and make it a true head-turner. However, with a kerb weight of 243 kg, it will be considered the heaviest bike in Royal Enfield's lineup.
Powertrain and Hardware Setup

Under the hood, the Classic 650 Twin is powered by a 647cc, air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine, producing 46.4 hp at 7,250 rpm and 52.3 Nm of peak torque at 5,650 rpm. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch, this setup provides a refined and responsive ride.
The suspension system comprises 43mm Showa telescopic forks up front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The provided suspension is tuned for a comfortable cruising experience. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends which are coupled with dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety.
Market Positioning and Price Expectations

The Classic 650 Twin will be positioned between the Continental GT 650 and the Shotgun 650, catering to riders who prefer a classic-styled tourer over the more aggressive cafe racer and bobber designs.
While official pricing is yet to be announced, it is expected to be launched at around Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle will compete against some of the brand's own products such as the Royal Enfield's Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650, as well as the newly introduced BSA Goldstar 650.
