Speaking of the newest update, it has brought a total of 3 new colour options to the cruiser bike. The new colours are - Fireball Matte Green, Fireball Blue, and Supernova Red. Meanwhile, the global markets were spared from these exciting colour options till now. However, the addition of new colours has not brought any further changes to the bike. This means that it continues using the same 350cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine as before. It is a BS6 compliant unit and produce a peak power of 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of peak torque.
Royal Enfield is also gearing itself for the new bike launches in the coming months. The next 12 months are supremely important for the brand. We are expecting that the new RE Himalayan 450 ADV & the Super Meteor 650 are the next aligned launches from the brand. Let's see when these new bikes will make it to the launch. However, we suspect that by the end of 2022, RE will introduce both of these bikes to the world.
The main competitors of the Meteor in India are - Yezdi Roadster & Jawa Forty Two.
