The Meteor 350 gets an all-new engine, new chassis, macho look and loads of features, considering it is an RE! It was launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 1.75 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. So, as you have seen in the above table, the prices of the Meteor 350 have been hiked by upto 10,000 rupees since its launch. However, when you compare the latest April prices with the January 2021 prices, the Meteor 350 has become dearer by around 6000 rupees. Royal Enfield has also increased the prices of its best-selling product in India - Classic 350, and also of the RE Bullet 350 which is the company's most affordable motorcycle currently on sale in India. The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is powered by a new J-series BS6 compliant 349cc, single-cylinder, air and oil-cooled engine. It gets an electronic fuel injection system too. This new BS6 motor churns out 20.2 PS of maximum power at 6100 RPM and 27 Nm of peak torque at 4000 RPM. The mill comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The suspension duties on the Meteor 350 are performed by 41 mm telescopic forks at the front while at the rear, it gets dual spring-loaded shock absorbers with 6-step adjustable preload.
For braking duties, the motorcycle gets large disc brakes at either end. At the front, it gets a 300 mm disc while the rear one is a 270 mm unit and it gets dual-channel ABS too. It rivals against the likes of the Honda H'ness CB 350, Jawa Motorcycles, Benelli Imperiale 400, etc. What are your thoughts on the new prices of the Meteor 350?
