Skoda Elroq: Design
After having a look at the teaser, it seems that the electric SUV will come with a new design altogether. It will feature a full-width lightbar in the front, LED DRLs, and boomerang-style headlamps positioned below the DRLs. Apart from this, it will get an EV-specific blacked-out closed-off grille, and crab-arm signature LED tail lamp. All the above design elements will provide the SUV with a distinct appearance.
Skoda Elroq: Powertrain
The brand earlier announced that its upcoming electric SUV will be available in four powertrain options. These include the Elroq 50 which gets a 125 kW (168 bhp) motor mated with a 55 kWh battery pack. Second is the Elroq 60 with a 150 kW (201 bhp) mated to a 63 kWh battery pack. Apart from these., there will be two top-end variants- 85 and 85x, both featuring an 82 kWh battery pack. While the 85 trim gets a 210 kWh single motor that generates 282 bhp, the 85x trim will be equipped with a dual motor setup, generating 295 bhp. We don't have a variant-wise range of the upcoming SUV, but the brand has mentioned that it will provide up to 560 km of range on a single charge, depending on the trim.
