Skoda appears to be preparing to launch a special Monte Carlo Edition of its compact SUV Kushaq. The forthcoming edition's photos have already appeared on the internet. It is likely to be released in the middle of April 2022, according to reports. The Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo edition will have several cosmetic and interior modifications from the ordinary variant.
Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition Differences
To give it a distinctive look, the exterior design will have black highlights and all chrome elements will be blacked off. It will be coloured in red and white and will follow Skoda's global Monte Carlo design language. The blackened front grille, ORVMs, roof rails, window frame, and the new 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheel with a swirl-type pattern are among the other exterior features. The Monte Carlo badging can be seen on the front fenders.

At the interior, a new digital console will replace the analogue unit seen on the regular Kushaq versions. The SUV's seats will be covered in a dual-tone red-black leather with noticeable Monte Carlo badging. The red colour treatment can be seen on the dashboard, the interior doors, and the centre console.
The features on the other hand will be the same as the Style variant of the car which includes LED headlamps, ventilated front seats, a six-speaker system with subwoofer, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, TPMS, and a single-pane sunroof among other features.
Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Engine
Mechanically, the Monte Carlo edition is expected to come with the same engine options as the regular one. The Kushaq comes with a 1.0-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TSI engine options mated with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard. They also have the option of an automatic transmission, with the 1.0 TSI getting a 6-speed torque converter and the 1.5 TSI getting a 7-speed DSG.
The regular variants of the Skoda Kushaq have priced between Rs 10.99 lakh and Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
