Skoda has introduced a new Kushaq Style non-sunroof variant priced at Rs 15.09 lakh (ex-showroom), making it Rs 20,000 less expensive than the top-spec Style 1.0 MT variant. This model has been quietly introduced by the firm, and it will be offered in a 1.0-litre manual transmission type. By decreasing the price and deleting the sunroof and other feature from the Skoda Kushaq Style version, this might be released to attract more buyers to the company.

Skoda Kushaq Style NSR 1.0L MT
The Skoda Kushaq Style NSR differs from the top-spec Style variant in that the brand has left out some features from it. Auto dimming IRVM, fully digital driver's display, and automatic rain detecting wipers are all removed from the Style NSR. On the outside, the NSR model lacks a 16-inch spare wheel, instead it gets a 15-inch spare wheel.
Skoda, like every other carmaker, has been impacted by the global chip shortage, and the new variant's introduction could be a form of retaliation to the issue by removing a few features. In the Slavia and Kushaq, the 10-inch infotainment display was recently removed and replaced with an aftermarket 8-inch infotainment touchscreen. Last month, the brand raised the price of the Kushaq by Rs 70,000, a significant rise.
Mechanically, the vehicle remains the same; it is powered by the same 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine that produces 114 bhp of power and 178 Nm of peak torque. A 6-speed manual transmission is paired with the powerplant. A 1.5-litre TSI engine is also available for the Kushaq, which delivers 147.5 bhp of power and 250 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.

In other news, some Kushaq and Slavia owners are unhappy with the Czech manufacturer because certain models' air conditioners keep breaking down during the summer. Despite this, the price of the brand's new mid-size sedan, the Slavia, has recently been raised.
