If there's one SUV that has caught everyone's attention then it is the Skoda Kushaq and now recent details surface that its variants and their gearbox options are out. The Kushaq will rival Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks and Renault Duster and will be launched on June 28.

Skoda Kushaq will be offered in three variants as of now - Active, Ambition and Style. Both Onyx and Monte Carlo is not on offer but we expect they will follow the league soon. All the variants mentioned above will carry 1.0L and 1.5L TSI petrol engine option.

As you can see above, it is the top-spec Style variant that is available with both engine and gearbox options. The 1.0L TSI engine carries 115 PS with 175 Nm of peak torque while the 1.5L is a more powerful unit churning 150 PS with 250 Nm of peak torque.

Feature-wise, the Kushaq will carry a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, cruise control, wireless charging, ventilated front seats and more. The new SUV will utilise the MQB AO IN platform and safety features include as many as 6 airbags, ABS with EBD and ESP, Traction Control, TPMS and more. We also believe that the build quality of Skoda Kushaq will be better than the Korean cousins thus giving an edge on the safety of passengers.
