Skoda India has made some changes to the safety features of its top-selling vehicles in the Indian market. The brand has added 6-airbags as standard fitment in the Slavia sedan and Kushaq SUV in the Indian market. The 2024 Skoda Kushaq & Slavia now offers 6-airbags starting from the Active variant. Skoda Slavia & Kushaq Gets More Safer
As a part of the 2024 update, Skoda India has made the Kushaq & Slavia more enticing options for customers. Both these cars already boasts 5-star safety rating in adult and child protection. Now, the brand has added 6-airbags as standard in the cars making them more safe. Other safety features remains unchanged in both the cars and the brand has not made any changes to the pricing as well.
The Skoda Slavia lineup in India starts with the Active variant which is priced at Rs 11.53 lakh (ex-showroom). The model lineup consists total of 3 primary variants namely Active, Ambition, & Style. The Style is the top of the line variant which starts at Rs 14.62 lakh (ex-showroom). The Slavia comes with two engine options - 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine and a 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine. The 1.0-litre engine comes with a 6-speed manual and AT gearbox while the 1.5-litre unit comes with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG gearbox.
The Skoda Kushaq on the other hand starts with the same Active variant priced at Rs 11.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The other variants in the lineup includes Active, Onyx, Ambition, and Style. The Kushaq also comes in some special editions namely Elegance Edition, Monte Carlo and Matte Edition. Similar to the Slavia, the Kushaq comes with same engine and transmission options.

Skoda is consistently working to enhance its vehicles in India with new features and new variants to make them more appealing for the customers. The brand is aggressively working towards expanding its footprint in India and it has recently launched its flagship sedan Superb in India and they also preparing to bring a compact SUV in the Indian market as well.
