Tata Altroz Racer Engine Specifications
The Altroz Racer gets a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine producing 120 PS of power and 170 Nm of peak torque. This model will feature a 6-speed manual gearbox. To justify its sporty character, the brand has included a dual-exhaust system that produces a robust exhaust note.
Verdict
Tata Altroz Racer will be the second sports iteration in the premium hatchback segment and it will compete with the Hyundai i20 N Line. The i20 N Line comes with a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine while the Altroz Racer gets a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine. However, despite the performance figure of 120 PS, it will be exciting to see how the Altroz Racer performs on the road. We can expect the pricing of the upcoming Racer edition to start from Rs 10 lakh (Ex-showroom).
