2024 Tata Curvv Design Patent Leak Reveals Key Details
The Tata Curvv shares its front design with the Harrier and Safari, displaying a minor difference in the LED Daytime Running Light (DRL) signatures. Mirroring the Curvv Concept, the production version's LED DRLs have an upward-pointing edge, seamlessly merging into the clamshell bonnet. The LED headlights, fog lights, upper and lower grille, and lower bumper closely resemble those found on the bigger Tata SUVs.
Notably, the wheel arches exhibit a slightly squared design, featuring a more substantial plastic cladding compared to the Harrier and Safari models. However, it is safer to say that Tata is moving towards a refreshed uniform design philosophy for its brand identity.
Interiors: Higher Tech Quotient Awaits
The cabin of the Curvv SUV will be a techy space for the occupants. With the launch of Tata Punch EV, they have confirmed that the aim is simply to offer something over the competition. Expect an illuminated 2-spoke steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, a fully digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, wireless charging, ventilated seats, and an ADAS suit. Since it faces off against the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and the Honda Elevate, the contest will be fierce.
Engine Options: Something For Everyone
Tata Curvv, as we know, will come in both ICE and EV versions. The Curvv EV will be the first to launch followed by the ICE variants at a later date.
The internal combustion engine (ICE) variant of the Curvv will be equipped with Tata's new 1.2L T-GDI turbo petrol engine, delivering 125 PS and 225 Nm of torque. The transmission options are expected to include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. Additionally, the model will offer Nexon's 1.5-liter diesel unit, producing 115hp power and 260Nm of torque.

Verdict
The forthcoming Curvv SUV, unveiled through leaked design patent filings, is poised to bring a new level of styling to the segment. Boasting a coupe-styled sloping roofline, advanced features, and a range of powertrain options, it positions itself as a formidable contender in the highly-contested segment.
