Tata Curvv SUV is one of the most anticipated launches of 2024. The brand has already confirmed that the Curvv will be launched in the second half of 2024. Tata Curvv ICE - Spotted For The First Time
The Curvv will come with a coupe design, the near-production version of the SUV was recently shown at the Bharat Mobility Expo (BME). The SUV will come in multiple powertrain options which will include petrol, diesel, and electric powertrains. The recently spotted test mule was covered in heavy camouflage but showed the body design of the vehicle. However, we've already seen the car in the BME 2024.
On the design front, it will get a similar design language seen in the facelifted Nexon. It gets closed off front grille like an EV, the lower part gets air intakes. The front gets an LED DRL running through the width of the vehicle, the headlamps are placed in the bumper. The side profile gets petal-shaped dual-tone alloy wheels, and the major highlight is the coupe-like roofline. The flush door handles are the other highlight on the sides. Moving to the rear it gets an LED light bar and angular bumper flanked with reverse light.
On the inside, the Curvv will get a similar two-spoke steering wheel as the Nexon facelift. The dashboard will get a minimalist design with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment and a digital instrument cluster. The center console will feature touch-sensitive HVAC buttons.
Tata Curvv ICE Engine Specifications
Tata Curvv ICE will come with a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine which will produce 125 PS of power and 225 Nm of peak torque. This engine is expected to get a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT gearbox. Another option will be the 1.5-litre diesel engine with 115 PS of power and 260 Nm of peak torque. This engine will be available with a 6-speed manual transmission.

Verdict
Tata Curvv will be the first SUV in the mid-size SUV segment with a coupe like design. The SUV will boast a good number of features and will be a rival of the SUVs like the KIA Seltos, Hyundai Creta, MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq and other mid-size SUVs in the Indian market. We can anticipate the pricing of the Curvv ICE version to be in the range of Rs 11 lakh to Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom).
