Tata Curvv Spied: Emissions Testing Underway
While this is unmistakably the ICE variant, the electric version will be launched before this hits the showrooms. Meanwhile, the bodywork confirms the concept model revealed earlier and gets a sloping roofline. The Tata Curvv features a sleek, coupe-like sloping roofline and incorporates connected LED tail lamps. Anticipate the interior of the Tata Curvv to showcase a two-spoke illuminated steering wheel, dual displays, and a touch-sensitive AC control panel. The inclusion of an ADAS module is highly likely.
Under The Hood: Comprehensive List Of Options
The ICE-powered Curvv will feature Tata's new 1.2L T-GDI turbo petrol engine, generating 125 PS and 225 Nm of torque. It is likely to offer a choice between a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Additionally, it will get Nexon's 1.5 litre diesel unit churning out 115hp power and 260Nm of torque.
Expected Price & Launch
As previously mentioned, the Curvv EV is set to be launched before its ICE counterpart, with the combustion engine variant anticipated to be available in showrooms by early next year. The expected pricing for the Curvv ICE variants is around Rs. 11 lakh (ex-showroom), while the EV model is projected to start at approximately in the range of Rs 18-20 lakh (ex-showroom).
It will directly rub shoulders with the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and the Honda Elevate.
