Tata Curvv: What To Expect?
The Tata Curvv features a coupe-like design with a connected light strip at both the front and rear, a redesigned grille, and a sloping C-pillar. The production-ready version, recently showcased at a global expo, shares a similar front design with the Tata Harrier and Safari. It will ride on 18-inch alloy wheels.
Tata Curvv: Design Details
In terms of features, the Curvv will include a 12.3-inch touchscreen unit, similar to the one in the Nexon EV, and a fully digital instrument console reminiscent of the ICE Nexon. The steering wheel is also expected to be similar to the one found in the Harrier.
Additional features include an all-LED lighting setup, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, 12 speakers, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless charger, ventilated front seats, 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Tata Curvv ICE And EV: Under The Hood
For the internal combustion engine (ICE) version of the Tata Curvv, there are three expected powertrain options. The first is a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 123.29 bhp. The second option is a more powerful 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with an output of 168 bhp. The third choice is a diesel engine, specifically a 1.5-litre unit borrowed from the Nexon but with higher tuning to deliver around 113 bhp.
On the electric vehicle (EV) front, the Curvv will be built on Tata's latest electric-only Acti. ev platform. While the specific battery options haven't been disclosed yet, it's expected that the Curvv EV will offer two battery pack choices, likely ranging from 45 to 60 kWh. These battery options are anticipated to provide a driving range of about 500 kilometres.
Tata Curvv ICE And EV: Launch Timeline, Expected Pricing, And Rivals
Regarding the launch timeline, the Curvv is set to debut around the festive season. The EV version will be released first, followed by the petrol and diesel versions. The starting price for the ICE version of the Curvv is expected to be around Rs 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with models like the Citroen Basalt, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, and Maruti Grand Vitara.
On the other hand, the EV version is expected to be priced between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom) and will go up against rivals such as the MG ZS EV and the upcoming Creta EV.
