Design

Like other EVs in Tata Motors' lineup, the Harrier EV features subtle design updates over its ICE counterpart. At the front, it adopts a distinct EV-specific look with a closed-off grille and a redesigned bumper, which now sports silver vertical slats and a silver skid plate at the bottom. However, the LED headlamps and connected DRL setup enhance its aggressive styling.
The side profile remains unchanged except for newly designed aero-optimized 5-spoke alloy wheels and an EV badge on the front doors. At the rear, the connected LED taillight and roof-mounted spoiler dominate the design. The only noticeable difference is the Harrier EV badging on the tailgate, distinguishing it from its ICE sibling.

Features

Stepping inside, the Harrier EV boasts a plethora of features along with a grey and white cabin theme. Some of the key features include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment, 10.25-inch instrument cluster, 10-speaker JBL sound system, panoramic sunroof, dual zone climate control and front ventilated and powered seats.
Additionally, the Harrier EV gets summon mode, through which you can move your vehicle backward with the key fob. However, some EV specific features include vehicle to load (V2L) and vehicle to charge(V2C).
Coming to the safety end, it offers seven airbags, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree parking camera, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, TPMS, and level 2 ADAS.
Powertrain

The Tata Harrier EV's powertrain details are yet to be revealed, the brand remains silent about the motor and battery specification. However, it will have a dual-motor setup that indicates the AWD configuration. Moreover, it can go up to 500 km on a single charge. We anticipate it to come with two battery pack options: a smaller 60 kWh battery pack with 2WD configuration and a bigger 75 kWh battery pack with AWD configuration.
Pricing & Rivals
The pricing will be announced after the official launch. However, it is expected to be priced around Rs 25-28 lakh (ex-showroom). It is expected to rival the Mahindra XEV 9E and the BYD Atto 3.
