As the year draws to a close, Tata Motors is ramping up its efforts with a series of facelift launches and upgrades. The 2023 Nexon and Nexon EV facelift have already hit the market. Notably, the eagerly awaited Harrier facelift is set to make its debut later this month, and for the first time, the electric version of the Harrier has been spotted. Recently, a photo of this electric two-row SUV emerged online. The Harrier EV showcases the same front design as the prototype exhibited at the Auto Expo 2023. Tata Harrier EV: What To Expect?
The initial images reveal a clever camouflage, concealing a grille with distinct horizontal slats. This design is reminiscent of what we've seen on other Tata models showcased at the Auto Expo. Moving to the front, there are striking LED Daytime Running Lights that seamlessly connect with a luminous strip, along with split LED headlights. Nestled beneath the iconic Tata logo, a front camera discreetly finds its place.
Inside the vehicle, another image showcases an updated dashboard and centre console layout. Notably, there's an all-digital instrument cluster, and the steering wheel follows the twin-spoke design with an illuminated Tata logo. This feature is in line with what we've seen in other 2023 Tata models like the Punch, Nexon, and Nexon Ev. The Harrier EV is set to offer modern conveniences such as an electronic parking brake and a generously sized freestanding touchscreen infotainment system. Touch-based HVAC controls, a 360-degree surround camera, and a panoramic sunroof are also part of the package.

As for creature comforts, the Harrier EV pulls out all the stops. It will include a wireless charger, USB ports, an air purifier, automatic climate control, power-adjustable front seats, and ambient lighting to create a welcoming ambience. Safety is a top priority, and the Harrier EV will come equipped with an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite, featuring Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB).

Underneath it all, the Harrier EV will ride on Tata's cutting-edge Gen 2 EV architecture. While specifics about the battery pack and range remain under wraps for now, it was confirmed at this year's Auto Expo that the Harrier EV will boast an AWD capability, distinguishing it from its traditional combustion-engine counterpart.
