The auto industry is one of the sectors where the COVID-19 has taken a toll and the sales of the cars have decreased. In order to push the sales, several carmakers are offering discounts and in a recent, Tata Motors is making it easier on the EMI schemes of the Altroz.
With the new monthly EMI scheme which starts at just Rs 5,555, one can buy the Tata Altroz without burning a hole in their pocket. The catch is that the EMI scheme of the referred amount will be valid for the first 6 months only. One can book the premium hatchbacks via dealerships or online. The EMI is applicable to a loan of up to Rs 5.50 lakh which will subsequently increase over a period of five years.
Tata Altroz is available in both petrol and diesel engines. While the 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine may not be the fun to drive one, the turbo 1.5L oil burner surely knows how to respond. The petrol engine is sourced from Tiago and makes 84 bhp with 114 Nm of peak torque.

The 1.5L diesel mill is a de-tuned version from the Nexon and now makes 90 bhp and 200 Nm of peak torque. Transmission for both the engines sticks to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Tata is also planning on introducing a more powerful petrol motor which might be also termed as the JTP trim.

The prices of the Tata Altroz starts from Rs 5.29 lakh and the top model fetches till Rs 9.34 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The car is offered in several packages like Rhythm, Style and Luxe. The carmaker also gives 2 years and 75,000 kilometres as standard package. The buyers can also opt for the extended warranty packages also.
