Celebrating the rollout of the 4th lakh Tiago, the red Tata Tiago has become the chariot for Tata to crown the big number of sales. This sales figure has still not been achieved by any other car in the segment. The popularity of Tiago relies upon the fact that it enjoys 19 percent segment sales alone. Not just that, but, Tiago has also captured the most first-time car buyers. According to Tata, more than 60 percent of Tiago sales are because of first-time car buyers.
The overall design, technical specifications, and the 4-star GNCAP safety rating make the Tiago a luring deal in the segment; which most young car buyers eventually look for. Tata has not just equipped the Tiago well with features like ABS, standard dual-airbags, and corner stability control (CSC), but the constant upgrades in design and interiors have kept the enthusiasm alive among the new car buyers for Tiago. Tata has made sure via the availability of 14 variants for Tiago that each potential customer can get one for themselves within their budget constraint.

Tata sells the Tiago in three various models - Tiago, Tiago NRG, and the newly launched Tiago CNG. Where the Tiago is the standard hatchback, the Tiago NRG is a more beefed-up version of Tiago which gives the car more rugged looks and SUV-ish stance for more dedicated and rough use. Tiago CNG, on the other hand, was launched recently with segment-first technology. It embarks the use of techs like the Direct CNG-start, and the single ECU unit for petrol and CNG fuel options.
Tata's revival as a brand has been nothing short of a huge success story. The Turnaround 2.0 strategy from Tata was successfully implanted via the Tiago; of which these sales figures are proof.
