Upcoming Tata Motor Cars
Tata Curvv - Tata's latest venture, the Curvv, will directly compete with industry giants like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara. Tata Curvv will launch it in both EV and ICE platforms, with an expected price range of Rs. 14.00 to 20.00 lakh.
Early media reports indicate it will feature a 1.5-liter diesel engine producing 115hp, with potential future variants including petrol and CNG powertrains.
Tata Harrier - Tata is electrifying one of the most popular SUVs on the market, the Tata Harrier. Set to launch in FY25, it will adopt the Acti-EV architecture used in the Nexon EV.
The Harrier EV will feature a 60 kWh battery pack, providing a range of about 500 km, and a dual motor setup, transforming it into an AWD vehicle. The Harrier EV will compete directly with the Mahindra XUV 700 EV, soon to be renamed XUV.e8.
Currently, the Harrier comes equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter diesel engine generating 170 hp and 350 Nm of torque, paired with both automatic and manual 6-speed transmissions.
Sierra EV - Tata aims to ensure that the Sierra EV retains its DNA, evident in the concept model showcased during Auto Expo 2020. The automaker has now confirmed its launch by March 2026, based on Tatas Gen2 EV platform.
The EV will also feature a dual motor setup with a 60 kWh battery, transforming it into a 4X4 SUV. One of the most exciting features includes curved rear side windows and squared wheel arches.
Tata Avinya EV - Dont think of it as just a new EV; it's an entire new range of premium models named Avinya by Tata. Think of it as Tata's equivalent to Maruti Suzuki's NEXA. Tata has announced that by FY2026, Avinya EV models will begin rolling out. These models will be based on the JLR modular EMA platform, which aims to make them affordable.
