Just recently, Tata Motors launched the Nexon EV Max and new reports suggest that the waiting period of the electric SUV already stands at 4 months now. Tata Nexon EV Max is powered by a bigger battery, gets more features than the regular Nexon EV, has more driving range and takes less time to juice up the bigger battery.
Powering the Nexon EV Max is a bigger 40.5kWh battery pack that generates as much as 141 bhp of power with a peak torque of 250 Nm. The ARAI certified driving range of the Nexon EV Max is now increased and sticks to 437 km.
Similarly, the charging time has drastically reduced and 0-80% of the battery can be charged in just 56 minutes via the DC fast charger. Tata also provides a bigger 7.2kWh charger but at an additional cost of Rs 50,000. This charger can be plugged into your home socket/office and 0-100% of the battery can be charged in just 6.5 hours. If you continue to use the 3.3kWh charger that comes as standard with the Nexon EV Max then the SUV takes 15-16 hours to juice up the battery.
Feature-wise, the Nexon EV Max now gains auto IRVM, ventilated cooled front seats, cruise control, disc brake on all four wheels, electronic parking brake, wireless smartphone charger, multiple re-gen modes and air purifier over the regular Nexon EV.

The ground clearance of the EV Max now sees a drop of 15 mm and 100 kg additional weight over the regular Nexon EV. Tata Nexon EV Max is available in two variants and is priced from Rs 17.74 lakh to Rs 19.24 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
