Even with the discontinuation of six variants, Nexon still has over 60 variants to be picked up from. The discontinued trims used to come with 16-inch alloy wheels, a touchscreen infotainment system, a cooled glove box and more.
Under the hood, Nexon gets 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5L diesel. The former is a three-pot, turbocharged petrol motor that generates 118 bhp of power with a peak torque of 170 Nm. The ARAI certified fuel economy of the same sticks to 17.5 kmpl for the MT and 16.3 kmpl for the AMT.

The diesel belts out 108 bhp of power with a peak torque of 260 Nm. The ARAI certified fuel economy of the same sticks to 22 kmpl for the AMT and 21.2 kmpl for the MT. Both the engine options are mated to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard and get AMT as an option.

Tata Nexon is the only compact SUV that is available with all three options - Petrol, Diesel and EV. It is a future-ready car and rivals Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Maruti Brezza, Mahindra XUV300 and Toyota Urban Cruiser.
