- Tata Punch Kaziranga edition has been removed from Tata Motors' website
- In February 2022, the Punch Kaziranga edition was released
- Tata Punch is now only available in the regular and camo variants
The Punch Kaziranga edition has been discreetly taken off from Tata Motors' official website. In February 2022, the company introduced the Punch Kaziranga edition; exactly one year later, the product has been discontinued. The Tata Punch is currently only offered in standard and a special Camo edition. The low sales of the Kaziranga special edition could be to reason for the discontinuance.

Tata Punch Kaziranga Edition Discontinued
The one-horned Indian rhinoceros served as the inspiration for the colour scheme of the Tata Punch Kaziranga edition, which included Grassland Beige colour with Piano Black Roof. The Rhino Mascot on the fenders and the jet black alloy wheels were further exterior features that set this version apart. It had wooden inserts, leatherette seat upholstery, and a tri-arrow motif on the dashboard.
A 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, push-button start/stop, projector headlamps, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, LED daytime running lamps (DRLs), and other features were included with this edition, which was only offered with the Punch's Creative trim. The current Creative edition of the standard edition also includes these features.
Tata Punch Engine Specifications
Punch has recently received an update from the brand with a new RDE compliant engine. The 2023 Tata Punch's 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine now satisfies the forthcoming BS6 phase 2 RDE requirements. This engine continues to put out a maximum torque of 113 Nm and 86 bhp of power. This engine is available with both an AMT and a 5-speed manual transmission.

With the new RDE compliant engine the brand has also improved the car's NVH (Noise, Vibrations, and Harshness) levels and the engine is now quieter. With the new RDE-compliant engine, the car has also become more environmentally friendly. Even with the AC running, the cabin feels more refined and silent.
Verdict: One of Tata Motors' best-selling cars in India is the Tata Punch. The CNG and EV versions of this B-segment hatchback will be released soon, which will boost the Punch's sales even further. Due to the poor sales volume, the Kaziranga edition might be discontinued; nonetheless, the company already offers the Camo special edition.
