Tata Motors has recently unveiled the updated versions of Safari and Harrier, and they've just announced that these facelifted models are set to hit the market on October 17th. Bookings for both SUVs are already open, with customers able to reserve their SUVs by making an initial payment of Rs 25,000. These refreshed SUVs feature a fresh design and come with an enhanced range of convenience and safety features.

Tata Safari & Harrier Facelift
The freshly revealed Safari and Harrier facelifts showcase a completely revamped design, featuring a striking exterior makeover. They introduce a redesigned front fascia, complete with new LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and vertically stacked headlamps. On the sides, both SUVs are fitted with fresh alloy wheels, while at the rear, they sport connected LED tail lamps. Additionally, the brand has introduced new variant names and a fresh range of colors for both these SUV models.
In terms of features, both SUVs come with an upgraded set of offerings, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless connectivity, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, a premium 10-speaker JBL sound system, a four-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, a convenient wireless charger, ambient mood lighting, ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof, among a host of other features. When it comes to safety, the new facelifts are equipped with a 360-degree camera system, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and up to seven airbags, along with other safety enhancements.

Tata Safari & Harrier Facelift Engine
The new Safari and Harrier facelifts maintain their existing engine and transmission configurations without any alterations. Both SUVs retain the robust 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine, capable of delivering 168 bhp of power and a peak torque of 350 Nm. Customers still have the choice between a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission for these vehicles.
Verdict
The new Safari and Harrier facelifts represent substantial upgrades compared to their current generation counterparts. The brand has incorporated a host of new features to enhance the overall appeal of both SUVs, positioning them as more competitive in the market.
