Tata has drastically improved with the production of new-age vehicles that are gaining popularity in the Indian market. Not only they are known for making safer cars but in this new initiative, the top variants of Tata Tiago and Tigor now gets a puncture repair kit.
As of now, the XZ+ and XZA+ that are considered to be the top variants of Tata Tiago and Tigor get the puncture repair kit. The carmaker claims that as of now they have rolled this kit for the higher trims but if the demand persists, this will be made standard for all the variants.
As of now, this puncture repair kit can be found in the new 2021 Tiago and Tigor only. The placement is under the driver's seat and when you open the bag, you will find a tyre pressure pump for the car and a liquid. This liquid is needed when you have a flat tyre and all you need to do is place the liquid in the required slot, put the cable into the 12V charging socket of the car and turn it on. Make sure that you turn on the car before starting the pump.

With the help of this liquid stuff, it will be easy to fix that puncture and the tyre will regain its air in no time. This technology helps when there are no petrol pumps or the puncture repairing shop that can fix your car. All you got to do is help yourself only. Tata might bring in this equipment with other cars too in the near future.
Sharing the details on the engine options, both the cars receive a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. This unit churns out 84 bhp at 6000 RPM with a peak torque of 113 Nm at 3300 RPM. This engine gets mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and an optional AMT unit. The ARAI figures for the manual sticks to 19.8 kmpl while for the AMT it is 23.84 kmpl.

The price of Tiago range from Rs 4.99 lakh to Rs 6.96 lakh while for Tigor it is 5.60 lakh to Rs 7.44 lakh. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi.
