Hyundai Creta has been in the market for over a year now and the 2020 model seems to have interested a lot of buyers. The result is such that it crossed 1.2 Lakh in sales and is still going strong. To even strengthen their fleet, Hyundai is now gearing up for the launch of Alcazar or the 7-seater version of Creta which will unveil on April 7 and the first sketches of the upcoming SUV are out.

First things first, Hyundai Alcazar will target the buyers of MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV500 and some other popular MPVs too for that matter. Their motto is to bring in a product with good durability, top-notch features along healthy competition.

Sharing our observation from the design then the rear profile now comes with C-shaped taillights, redesigned bumper with a faux brushed aluminium skid plate for a sportier look. The rear also gets an integrated spoiler, shark fin antenna and updated tailgate structure.
Shifting focus towards the side profile then it now gets a different design of alloy wheels, a longer rear door which easily allows the third-row passenger to get in and out, increased length and the window line in the picture seems to give a better perspective of the space in the last row.
Last but not the least, the front profile has been completely borrowed from the Creta with the split headlight structure. However, to differentiate it from the Creta, the Alcazar is expected to feature a new grille and also tweak the design of the LED daytime running lights.

The interiors are where you will see both six and seven-seat configurations, a new colour scheme of tan brown and a hint of more features. It will continue with a similar 10.25-inch touchscreen with modern connectivity features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It will also feature the signature BlueLink connected car technology.
Other features include a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, smart Air filter, cruise control, push-button start, steering mounted control and others. Safety features include 6 airbags, ISOFIX mount child seats, rear parking sensors, disc brakes on all wheels and more.
