A rather strange accident of a particular Toyota Fortuner SUV in Chandigarh is doing the rounds of the Internet. We say this because the video has garnered a lot of views just after the accident happened near Sector 37 of Chandigarh. Please note, no one in the accident was seriously injured and the driver of the SUV is under medical observation.
In the video, Toyota Fortuner was approaching a T-point at a certain speed and had a very close call with a passing Hyundai Verna. Both the cars missed hitting each other by a few inches. The Fortuner in the meantime continued to speed ahead at the same speed, hit the kerb and as a result, flew up in the air! It then crashed into a parked Honda City and other cars. As per initial reports, it seems the 25-year old driver of the Toyota Fortuner had suffered a major seizure due to which he lost the control of the SUV and the accident happened. Police officials say that the driver was already suffering from health issues.

The driver of the SUV has been identified as Rajinder Singh and was driving alone at the time of the accident. Further medical reports suggest that there was no alcohol found in the blood of the driver. He is under strict medical observation and the family and relatives of the driver are with him.
It is not sure whether the police have filed a complaint against him. The owners of the wrecked vehicles have registered a complaint against the driver for damaging their vehicles. Thankfully, no pedestrians were involved in the incident.

There have been incidents reported in the past too with drivers facing health issues and thus causing an accident. Driving on roads should be taken seriously and the license authorities should take this as a serious issue for people having health problems.
