MG Gloster was a runaway success for the carmaker as within few days of its launch, it was sold out for 2020. A month after its launch, MG hiked the prices of the Gloster and now it gets its first revision for 2021. MG Gloster sees a price hike of Rs 80,000 for some of the variants. As you can see from the table above, the base model of the Gloster does not see any price increase at all. The base price of the Gloster still sticks to Rs 29.98 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. When compared with the rivals Ford Endeavour and Toyota Fortuner which are priced at Rs 30 lakh and Rs 30.36 lakh respectively, Gloster is the cheapest. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi.

The top-spec Savvy which comes with all the bells and whistles gets a massive hike of Rs 80,000 and now its price sticks to Rs 38.86 lakh. The Smart 6 seater gets a hike of Rs 50,000 while the Sharp 6 and 7 seater ups its price by Rs 70,000.
Sharing information on the mechanical front then it gets two BS6 compliant diesel engines - a 2.0-litre single turbo-diesel making 163 PS of power at 4000 RPM with a peak torque of 375 Nm at 1500-2400 RPM. Next is the most powerful engine in the segment, the 2.0-litre bi-turbo diesel making 218 PS of power at 4000 RPM with a peak torque of 480 Nm at 1500-2400 RPM. Both the engines get an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Feature-wise, this full-size SUV is loaded to the brim. You get a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with modern connectivity features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Internet Connectivity. The i-SMART 2.0 Connectivity allows access to over 70 connected features. One also receives as many as 7 driving modes on this one which includes - Rock, Sand, Snow, Mud, Eco, Auto and Sport.
