Toyota has finally launched the Glanza at a starting price of Rs 6.39 lakh and its top of the line, V variant, is now priced at 9.69 Rs lakh. The Glanza is Rs 4,000 more expensive than the Baleno and Rs 59,000 cheaper than the base variant of the Hyundai i20. It is now available in four variants and the prices for the same are below!

Feature-wise, Toyota Glanza is equipped with a larger 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The lower variants get a 7.0-inch unit. It also gets automatic climate control, all-four power windows, head-up display, 360 view camera, LED projector headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights, 16-inch alloy wheels, dual-tone interior, rear AC vents and more.
Safety features on the Toyota Glanza include as many as six airbags, a high-speed alert system, speed-sensing door lock, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, front seat belt reminder and more. The AMT variants of the Glanza also gets hill-hold assist.

Mechanically, Toyota Glanza is now only powered by a single 1.2-litre, DualJet motor. This four-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine produces as much as 89 bhp of power on tap with a maximum torque of 113 Nm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission as standard and now also gets AMT as an option. The CVT is now replaced by an AMT. The ARAI certified fuel economy of 5-speed manual transmission is 22.3 kmpl whereas the AMT delivers the highest at 22.9 kmpl.
