Toyota Innova Hycross: Gets A Stunning Makeover?
The Toyota Innova Hycross is a comfortable and reliable choice. But DC2 (formerly DC Designs) took it a step further, creating the "LEX" - Luxury Lounge Based On Innova Hycross. It features a luxurious interior, but it's not done in collaboration with Toyota.
The design exudes luxury with green leather and wood inlays, creating a lavish atmosphere. The cabin boasts plush leather seats and wooden accents for an enhanced driving experience. Instead of the standard 7 or 8 seats, DC2 installed custom VIP recliners with various features, including neck and calf support and electrical adjustment.
Controls for different lighting elements on the 3rd-row side panels allow passengers to set the perfect mood, while the large skylight adds a sophisticated diffused lighting effect.

The floor of the Innova Hycross has been replaced with glass and has ambient light strips. To enhance the entertainment experience for passengers, a 43-inch foldable Android smart TV has been mounted on the ceiling. However, the inclusion of this mechanism adds weight to the roof and raises the centre of gravity. Additionally, a refrigerator has been added, providing practicality for passengers to keep refreshments at hand.
There are custom rear seats that can be pushed all the way back in the cabin to create extra space. Additionally, DC2 has also added a 3-pin socket.
The back doors stay in their original place, making getting in and out a bit inconvenient. To resolve this, DC2 added custom grab rails and advises customers to enter face-first and then turn around to sit in the comfy recliners. It may not be perfect, but the added luxury at a good price is worth it!
Mechanically, the vehicle remains unchanged. The Hycross gets a 2.0-liter petrol+hybrid powertrain, paired with an e-CVT gearbox.
Verdict
The LEX is a stunningly modified Innova Hycross with VIP recliner seats, glass flooring, and a 43-inch foldable TV for added luxury. Practical additions like a refrigerator and 3-pin socket make it convenient for passengers. What are your thoughts on these modifications? Don't forget to share them in the comment section.
