Bajaj Pulsar NS400: Launch Date, Engine Details, and Expected Pricing
Revealed to a reputed TV channel, Bajaj officials have claimed that the Pulsar NS400 (expected name), will be launched on 3rd May in India. This new model will possibly be based on the Bajaj Dominar 400. However, the chassis, tuning of the engine, and the design will be made for a fun-to-ride experience; typical to a Pulsar moniker.
The NS series Pulsar has been a hit in the Indian market as well as global markets like South America. While the biggest Pulsar NS200 is doing well in sales, the Bajaj brand name needs a bigger Pulsar. It is because Bajaj is already producing a 400cc platform for the Triumph Speed 400 and KTM 390 Duke. Hence, a Pulsar would be a home-grown product with the Bajaj character in it.
Engine-wise, we expect it to get the same unit as seen on the Dominar 400. The tuning and gear ratios of this 400cc, liquid-cooled engine will be different due to a new design and different dimensions. Moreover, Bajaj's aggressive pricing strategy is likely to be seen with this model as well. Bajaj might price it around Rs 1.80 lakh. More details will surface about it as we approach its launch date i.e. 3 May 2024.
