The upcoming Citroen C3 hatchback has been spied in dual-tone exteriors and completely visible interior design in the new spy shots. Read all the details below.
The much-awaited, upcoming Citroen C3 hatchback has been spied testing once again and this time it is completely undisguised. The new spy photos reveal the dual-tone colour scheme on the outer while the dashboard and features can also be seen clearly in these new photos.
It is no brainer that French carmaker Citroen has been testing their C3 hatchback since months on the Indian soil. Going to compete with the likes of the micro-SUV Tata Punch, etc. the upcoming crossover cum hatchback was spied on a test run in completely undisguised form.

The test mule was draped in a white and black dual-tone exterior colour contrast. While the body panels were white-painted, the roof and the ORVMs were painted in gloss black finish; providing a subtle and exciting design combination. Citroen has designed the C3 with interesting design cues such as large wheel arches, dual-split headlights, and a large iconic Citroen badge incarnated front grille, LED DRLs and projector headlamps, etc. Although, the test mule spotted did not had the alloy wheels, front foglamps, projector headlights but the overall design prevailed the production ready model in advance via the photos.
A single shot of the interiors also reveals the production-ready dashboard layout and some features as well. The top-of-the-line variants shall come with a large 1 Lt glovebox, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system which shall feature Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, and a unique dashboard design as seen on the higher models such as the C5 Aircorss SUV. The C3 will also come equipped with steering mounted infotainment controls and multiple storage spaces with USB charging ports as well.

The upcoming car from Citroen is expected to use a 1.2-L, petrol engine which shall come with two various layouts i.e. one naturally aspirated form and the other with a turbocharger. The first one is expected to churn out a peak power of 81 bhp while the latter is expected to make 100 bhp. Citroen will offer a 5-speed manual and an automatic gearbox as well. Other specifications shall include 180 mm of ground clearance, 315-Lt boot space, ABS, EBD, dual-airbags, etc.
The upcoming Citroen C3 is anticipated to launch by June 2022 within a price bracket of Rs 5-8 Lakhs. Rivals will include Tata Punch, Hyundai Gran i10 NIOS, Maruti Swift, Maruti Baleno, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Honda Jazz, and Tata Altroz.
