Ahead of the festive season in India where there is a massive rush of deliveries for every carmaker, Kia has managed to deliver 152 units of their electric crossover, EV6 to the customers. This electric car is priced from 59.95 lakh to Rs 64.95 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
It is powered by a 77.4 kWh battery pack that puts out 321 bhp of power with a peak torque of 605 Nm. This is for the AWD version whereas, in the RWD set-up, the peak power and torque stick to 229 bhp and 350 Nm, respectively.

The WLPT-certified range sticks to 528 km which is a lot for the Indian market and interestingly, the EV6 can be charged from 10% to 80% in a matter of 18 minutes only. However, this can be done via a strong 350kW DC fast charger. It can be also charged via the 50kW fast charger as well, however, the charging time goes from 18 mins to 73 mins. There's a wall charger for home/office as well.
Feature-wise, EV6 is equipped with LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, a dual-screen set-up (one for touchscreen and the other for the instrument cluster), dual-zone climate control, 64-colour ambient lighting, multiple drive modes and more.

Verdict
Kia EV6 is a really good option if you are looking for an electric car which can take you for long distances without worrying about the charge. A decent 528 km certified range is enough for Indian road conditions. Also, Kia has been setting up several dealerships across the country so a useful aftermarket service is expected from them.
