Kia Calvis spy shots have been circulating on the web since January 2024, and Kia India is still conducting testing. This time, new photos have revealed an exciting detail: the side profile of the Kia Calvis, showcasing its long wheelbase and large windows. The design is reminiscent of the tall boy "Wagon R," which suggests that the rear seat experience will be significantly improved compared to the Kia Sonet. Let's learn more about this news. Kia Calvis
Most likely, this will be the second sub-4 meter SUV in the Kia lineup after the Seltos. They are aiming to create a premium product that will compete with the Tata Punch, Hyundai Exter, Nissan Magnite, and the upcoming Skoda Kylaq. The spy shots of the side profile show that the Calvis has a boxy shape similar to the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, with large windows and a generously long wheelbase. From these observations, its clear that the rear seat experience is expected to be quite comfortable.
Talking about the front profile, the LED headlights look very similar to those on the larger Kia EV9, but their execution is completely different. Additionally, the 16-inch wheel design mirrors that of the EV9 international models. However, let's break the bubble: I believe the Calvis is the name given to the Kia Soul for lndian market.
Under heavy camouflage, the body shape clearly indicates that this is a Kia Soul. In the U.S. market, it starts at $21,565 (approximately Rs 18 lakh) and is known for its spacious and feature-rich interior.
Expected Features
Automotive enthusiasts have confirmed that it will feature a panoramic sunroof, dual 10.25-inch displays, ventilated seats, an air purifier, and a 1.0L turbo petrol engine, which we have already seen in the Kia Sonet, and Hyundai Venue.
