Kia is getting ready to debut the EV6, its first electric vehicle, in India. An unmasked Kia EV6 was recently sighted in Hyderabad. The electric vehicle is built on Kia's Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). The EV6 has a stylish appearance and will be available in India as a completely built unit (CBU) in India.
As far as the design is concerned, the EV6 has a sporty crossover design with dynamic characteristics, as shown in the photos. It boasts sleek triangle headlamps and a front end that aggressively slopes forward. The EV6 boasts an integrated spoiler and houses the linked taillights that span the width of the car and extend to the rear wheel arches.

A 58kWh and 77.4kWh battery pack are included in the international model's powertrain. The Indian market's powertrain is yet to be revealed. Both are supposed to be available in RWD and AWD versions. The 58kWh battery pack is available in two configurations: rear-wheel drive (RWD) with a 170 bhp single-motor or all-wheel drive (AWD) with a 235 bhp dual-motor setup.
On the other hand, the bigger 77.4kWh battery pack can be configured with a 221 bhp single-motor in RWD, 320 bhp dual-motor in AWD, or the range-topping, performance-oriented GT model with a dual-motor AWD arrangement producing 576 bhp and 740Nm.
On the interior, the EV6 boasts a 12-inch digital driver's display and a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system are housed in an integrated enclosure on the dashboard. The climate controls are located below the central AC vents on a sleek, panoramic panel. It comes with a flat-bottomed two-spoke steering wheel with a sporty appearance.

The Kia EV6 is expected to be launched in May and to be priced at nearly Rs 50 lakh. In the future years, several new electric Kia vehicles are scheduled to be released in India. Despite this, the Kia EV6 will be the most costly Kia vehicle on the Indian market. In the following months, the Kia Seltos facelift is scheduled to be unveiled.
