Although the test mule was completely covered with camouflage, it offered a sneak peek at certain elements including the front grille, alloy wheels, and rear profile. The upcoming facelift will feature a refreshed front appearance characterized by a larger and more imposing grille. Additionally, the design of the headlamp housing will undergo a transformation, accompanied by a new headlamp design. Notably, the front end will also be equipped with new LED daytime running lights (DRLs).
Along the sides, the SUV is expected to feature a fresh alloy wheel design that bears a resemblance to the current generation's wheels. Towards the rear, notable changes will include an upgraded tail lamp design. There is speculation that this could entail the incorporation of connected LED tail lamps and sequential turn indicators.
In terms of features, the facelift is set to introduce a range of enhancements compared to the current generation. These upgrades include a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, improved telematics, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), a fresh instrument cluster, revamped interior layout, and an updated color theme. Tata Safari Facelift Engine Specifications
The upcoming facelift is anticipated to retain the same 2.0-liter diesel engine, producing 168 bhp of power and 300 Nm of peak torque. This engine is coupled with both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Moreover, speculations are indicating that the brand may potentially introduce a new 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine.
