The Force Gurkha 4X4 SUV is a well-known offering in the market and is known for its supreme off-road capabilities and robust looks. The SUV not only boasts a powerful powertrain but also gets a better cabin and a practical package to the buyers. Having said this, the brand is expected to introduce an updated model in the Indian market soon. The test mule of the updated Gurkha 4X4 was recently spotted and here are all the details that you should know.
For starters, the updated test mule features steel wheels with a negative offset and a black finish. Except for that, no major changes have been made to the styling of the car and the Gurkha continues to feature the same old boxy styling and a compact footprint. Having said this, this new Gurkha might also miss on other features like LED headlights too keep the costs in check. The brand however is yet to share any official updates about the upcoming interaction of the Gurkha.

The Force Gurkha 4X4 SUV currently gets a 2.6-litre diesel engine that churns out a peak power and torque output of 91hp and 250 Nm respectively. Unlike the Mahindra Thar, the Gurkha 4X4 is only available with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard while the power is channelled to all four wheels with low range and manual locking front and rear differentials.
The brand is also offering a practical and feature-rich cabin to the buyers and gets a long features list including a new touchscreen system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth system, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering wheel, USB charging sockets for all four occupants, power windows, central locking, air-conditioning, LED headlamps, DRLs, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, and a factory-fitted snorkel.
