Design & Dimensions
The VF e34 boasts a crossover sort of design language with a closed-off grilled with an LED light radiating from the brand's logo and running to the corners of the bonnet on both sides, an LED headlamp setup, air dams on the bumper, and a silver lower skirt. The side profile gets big body cladding, 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and chrome garnish on window sills. At the rear, it gets an LED tail lamp extending to the logo in the center of the tailgate, spoked LED lamps, and a roof spoiler.
Dimensionwise the EV measures 4,300 mm in length, 1,768 mm in width, and 1,613 mm in height. It boasts a wheelbase of 2,611 mm and a ground clearance of 180 mm. It also has a boot space capacity of 290 liters. In the international market, the EV comes in 8 colour options.
Interior & Features
The interior of the EV boasts a minimalist design with Granite Black and Sand Beige colour tone options. It boasts a vertically stacked 10-inch touchscreen infotainment, digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, multiple USB charging ports, and electrically adjustable driver seat, among other convenience features. On the safety front, it gets a 360-degree camera, 6-airbag, ABS with EBD, level 2 ADAS with a rear cross alert, lane departure warning, and blind spot monitoring among other features.
Powertrain & Range
In the international market, the VF e34 comes with a 41.9 kWh LFP battery pack. It comes with a single electric motor producing 148 bhp of power and 242 Nm of peak torque. The EV offers a NEDC claimed range of 318.6 km on a single charge. If we talk about the charging, it comes with a fast charging capacity of 10-70% charge in 27 minutes.
Launch Timeline, Price & Rivals
We can expect the launch of the VinFast VF e34 sometime in 2025. The brand has already started working on its factory establishment. The EV is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 20-25 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Curvv EV, and other EVs in the same price range.
