The Volkswagen Taigun GT Edge Trail Edition is gearing up for its official launch on November 2nd. Volkswagen had previously announced a series of updates for its lineup, including special editions like the Virtus and Taigun GT Edge Limited Collection. The Trail Edition was also introduced during this announcement and is now set to hit the market.

The Volkswagen Taigun GT Edge Trail edition, upcoming Volkswagen Taigun GT Edge Trail Edition is designed with a rugged appearance, enhanced by practical roof rails, body decals and graphics, and stylish blacked-out 17-inch alloy wheels. It will be available in two exterior color options: Carbon Steel Grey Matte and Deep Black Pearl. Inside the vehicle, the edition will boast black leatherette seat upholstery with striking red stitching, 'Trail' embossing on the seats, red ambient lighting, and aluminum pedals, setting it apart from the standard variants.
Meanwhile, the German brand has teased the badging of this new edition before the price reveal set for November 2.

Interior And Features
The Volkswagen Taigun GT Edge Trail Edition will offer a distinctive interior with black leatherette seat upholstery featuring eye-catching red stitching. Notably, the seats will be embossed with the 'Trail' label, and the edition will sport red ambient lighting and stylish aluminum pedals, setting it apart from the standard variants.
In terms of features, this special edition Taigun will come equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, seamless connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, a digital instrument cluster, ventilated and power-adjustable front seats, as well as an electric sunroof
Volkswagen Taigun: Powertrain
The Taigun GT Edge Trail Edition will retain its existing powertrain. It will be powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine, which complies with BS6 Phase 2 standards. This engine is capable of generating 148 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual gearbox and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
Taigun GT Edge Limited Collection is offered in a price range of Rs. 16.79 lakhs to Rs. 19.45 lakhs (ex-showroom). The upcoming Trail Edition is likely to be priced in a similar range.
