The Volkswagen Virtus offers two engine options: a 1.0-liter and a 1.5-liter TSI petrol engine. The 1.0-liter engine generates 114bhp and 178Nm of torque, available with both a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic transmission. On the other hand, the 1.5-liter engine delivers 148bhp and 250Nm of torque, coupled with a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed DSG transmission.
The Virtus comes in six variants: Comfortline, Highline, Topline, GT, GT Plus, and GT Plus Edge, with prices ranging from Rs. 11.56 lakh to Rs. 19.41 lakh (ex-showroom). Competitors to the Virtus include the Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, and Skoda Slavia.
