VW Taigun is the talk of the town as the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos rival is all set to launch soon. However, just days before its official launch, we've found that the top-spec variant paired with the DSG unit is expected to cost Rs 21 lakh, on-road.
The owner shared his thoughts on the VW Taigun India Owners groups that the top-spec variant paired with 1.5L DSG will cost Rs 21 lakh whereas the 1.0L TSI AT will set you about Rs 17 lakh. Both are top-spec variants that will get all the bells and whistles.
However, the owner also expressed his views that if the price is this high, he doesn't wish to proceed ahead and get an SUV that measures just 4.2m in length. Other SUVs like the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, Hyundai Alcazar makes better sense. Or the direct rivals Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos mark up for a better option as they offer more features for less.
