Yamaha has just revealed the stylish Chrome edition of the latest FZ-X at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Expo. The bike comes in two new colours. You can soon grab one because it'll be up for sale, and you can start booking it at any Yamaha showroom in a few days. Yamaha FZ-X Chrome Edition - New Paint Options

The new Chrome edition has a sleek design featuring full chrome and black paint options. One tank style goes for an all-black look with matching alloy wheels, while the other sports a shiny silver metal colour with golden alloy wheels.

The cost for the two new paint options hasn't been shared yet, but anticipate the FZ-X chrome version to be the priciest one in the collection.

In the current model, you can choose from three paint options: matte titan, matte copper, and dark matte blue.

The new edition will use the same 149cc, single-cylinder engine found in the FZ-S, delivering 12.2bhp at 7,250rpm and 13.6Nm at 5,500rpm. It comes with a five-speed gearbox for smooth rides.

Additionally, it will come equipped with a 282mm front disc brake with ABS and a 220mm rear disc brake.

In terms of features, the FZ-X mirrors the current model, boasting full LED lighting and a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, it includes a convenient USB charger, ABS and a side-stand engine cut-off function.

Verdict

The Chrome Edition brings a touch of sophistication with full chrome and black paint options, showcasing a blend of style and power. While the engine remains unchanged, the new color variants add a refreshing twist.
