Yamaha R15 V3 is a very popular motorcycle in the Indian market. The R15 V3 is an entry-level fully-faired motorcycle from the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer in India. It is loved by motorcycle enthusiasts as well as new budding riders. The V3.0 of the R15 was first launched in India in the year 2018. Over the years, it has got some subtle updates and now the company has hiked the price of the Yamaha R15 V3 BS6. The price of the Yamaha R15 V3 BS6 earlier used to start at Rs. 1,47,900. But now, as the price has been hiked, the price of the Yamaha R15 V3 BS6 starts at Rs. 1,49,100, which is around 1,200 rupees more than before. The bike is available in three colour variants with different pricing. They are Thunder Grey - Rs. 149,100, Racing Blue - Rs. 1,50,200 and Dark Knight - Rs. 1,51,200. All the prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi. The KTM RC 125, on the other hand, is an entry-level supersport machine from KTM and it is available in two colour variants, namely Dark Galvano and Electric Orange. Both these colour variants are priced the same at Rs. 1.62 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.
The new KTM RC 125 is powered by a BS6 compliant 124.7cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 14.5 PS of power at 9250 RPM and 12 Nm of torque at 8000 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The new Yamaha R15 V3, on the other hand, gets a BS6 compliant 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 18.6 PS of maximum power at 10000 RPM and 14.1 Nm of peak torque at 8500 RPM. The engine comes coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The R15 V3 also gets Yamaha's VVA or Variable Valve Actuation technology. It provides torque for ease of use even at low RPMs.

Both these fully-faired motorcycles are really very feature-loaded but when it comes to hardware, the RC 125 is just better. Both of them get disc brakes at either end with ABS.
