Yamaha offers a liquid-cooled single overhead camshaft fuel injection engine which churns out a maximum power of 18.4 PS and 14.2 Nm of peak torque. The engine also comes equipped with a Traction Control System and a Quick Shifter (up-shift) too for the first time.
The latest generation comes with an assist and slipper clutch to reduce the weight of the clutch pull and provide low-stress gear shifting during deceleration and helps to reduce fatigue for the rider. This also prevents excessive engine braking, thus reducing its effects on chassis behaviour. The biker can now experience much smoother and enjoyable downshifts.
The sporty commuter, R15 V4 comes with an upside-down suspension fork with 37 mm inner tubes upfront to improve rigidity and stability at high speed turns and during high braking inputs.
