The Taigun Anniversary Edition from Volkswagen India has been discontinued. This special edition of the Taigun, which was introduced in September of last year, featured various cosmetic alterations from the standard variants and was offered in a unique "Rising Blue" color, which later became available in other variants. However, the brand has now decided to pull the plug on this limited edition model.

Volkswagen Taigun Anniversary Edition
The Taigun Anniversary Edition featured several cosmetic enhancements, including 1st Anniversary badging, body-colored door garnish, side window visors, fog lamps, door edge protectors, blacked-out C-pillars with graphics, roof foil, aluminum pedals, and ORVM caps. The Anniversary Edition's features were similar to those of the Topline variant, which includes an electric sunroof, ventilated front seats, 6-airbags, auto headlamps, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, and other amenities.
Equipped with a 1.0-liter TSI turbo petrol engine that produces 114 bhp and 178 Nm of peak torque, the Anniversary Edition was available with both a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission.

Volkswagen Taigun Facelift
Volkswagen is now testing the redesigned Taigun mid-size SUV across international borders. Recent spy images of the impending Taigun SUV facelift that is entirely undisguised have leaked. Even while it shares a lot of visual similarities with the present model, the future model will have a number of design alterations. According to the spy photos, the vehicle's front will be overhauled with a new grille, a modified bumper, and new headlights. While it appears that less chrome is being used, the Indian version of the car is likely to feature more chrome on its front end.
