Mahindra has given the segment’s first panoramic sunroof with the Light Me Up feature. The roof light can be adjusted according to the ambient lighting and the owner can choose from 16 million colour combinations for the ambient lighting.

The Mahindra XEV 9e comes with ADAS Level 2+ which comprises 5 radars, 12 sensors, and multiple cameras to offer a safe and secure journey. This advanced safety feature helps keep the driver, passengers, and pedestrians safe.

The XEV 9e offers a segment-first triple-screen dashboard, consisting of three 12.3-inch displays: one for the instrument cluster, one as the central infotainment screen, and the third as the passenger infotainment screen.

To enhance the in-cabin experience, Mahindra has offered a 16-speaker Harmon Kardon music system in the XEV 9e. This system offers an immersive sound experience.

The VF7 is the flagship model from VinFast that has finally been launched in India, and it 
comes in with prices ranging between Rs 20.89 lakh and Rs 25.49 lakh (ex-showroom). 
Available in five different variants, the Vinfast VF7 goes up against the MG ZS EV and the 
Mahindra XEV 9E.

	<li>The VF7 is similar to its younger sibling in terms of design, appearing more like a grown-up version of the VF6, featuring a familiar design language. It continues with the DRL strips running across the length of the bonnet, with the headlamps mounted lower&nbsp;below. The VF7 also gets a larger housing for the air vents below, along with a polished&nbsp;black surface for contrast. 
	&nbsp;</li>
	<li>The VF7 also looks familiar from the sides as well. However, unlike its smaller sibling, this car comes with flush-fitting door handles, and&nbsp;additionally it also gets black cladding lower down for protection. The 19-inch alloy rims get aero-inspired design treatment. The 
	VF7 is available with a total of six paint options, and it continues with similar twin strips connecting the tail lamps at the rear, with a uniquely-shaped tailgate and slim vertical tail lamps.</li>

There is also the larger 70.8kWh battery pack for the mid-spec variants, with output figures of 201bhp and 310Nm of torque, along with a claimed 0-100kmph sprint time of 9.5 seconds. The all-wheel drive variant produces 348bhp and 500Nm of torque, with a claimed 0-100kmph sprint time of just 5.8 seconds.

	<li>All three variants get different claimed range figures, depending on the variant you choose. The Earth variants come with a claimed range of 438km on a single charge, while the Wind and the Sky variants come with 532km and 510km claimed range figures on a single charge respectively.</li>

In terms of standard features, it gets a 12.9-inch infotainment touch screen, a coloured head-up display, projector headlamps with automatic levelling, heated ORVMs, cruise control, a 360-degree camera, rain-sensing wipers, a power-adjustable driver seat, auto-dimming&nbsp;IRVM, wireless smartphone connectivity, multiple drive and regen modes among other things.

The Vietnam based brand is coming up with a factory in Tamil Nadu and soon launch the VF6 and VF7 later in the year via local dealerships. These two electric SUVs will be CKDs to start with (completely knocked down kits, assembled in India) and will be in the Rs 14-25 lakh bracket. 
Expect dual motors or AWD set-up for the bigger VF7.
