Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor Design
The Toyota Taisor is based on the same platform as the Maruti Suzuki Taisor and boasts a similar design language. The front profile of the Taisor gets the maximum changes if we compare it with the Fronx. The front gets a new grille similar to the one on the Rumion, the LED DRLs are sleeker than the Maruti Fronx's ice cube-shaped DRLs. There's a chrome strip in the center of the grille which connects both DRLs.
The side profile of the Taisor looks almost similar to Fronx but it does get a different set of 16-inch alloy wheels. The alloy wheels on the Taisor boast a diamond-cut spokes design. The wheel arches and side body cladding are similar to the Fronx.
The rear profile of the Taisor also gets a minimal difference as compared to the Maruti Fronx. The Taisor gets a connected LED tail lamp but the internal lighting elements are different than the Fronx.
If we talk about the colour options, the Taisor comes in 5 monotone and 3 dual-tone colour options. Verdict
Toyota is enjoying good sales number with the help of its rebadged products. The badge engineering has worked pretty well for Toyota and Maruti Suzuki in India. In the Taisor the brand has made some design changes to make it look different and the front profile is changed to give a distinctive look. The Taisor might look more appealing to some customers as compared to the Maruti Fronx.
