India's largest car manufacturer - Maruti Suzuki sells a variety of cars in the Indian market and that too of different body styles. Maruti ventured into the MPV segment with the Ertiga in 2012 and it was an instant hit. The second-gen Ertiga was launched in November 2018. Buoyed by the success of the Ertiga, Maruti launched its premium six-seater MPV in 2019. This Premium MPV is based on the Ertiga and is called the XL6. 2020 Maruti Suzuki XL6: Looks and Colour Options
Maruti Suzuki XL6 is a handsome-looking MPV. It is an MPV but has a rugged stance that lends it a SUV~ish appeal. At the front, the XL6 gets a blacked-out grille with thin chrome strip and a big Suzuki logo in between. The chrome strip appears to be connected with the daytime running LEDs. The XL6 gets signature quad-LED headlamps. The side profile houses new blacked-out 15-inch alloy wheels and it also gets roof rails. At the rear, it gets long vertical taillights and a roof-mounted spoiler too. It has a rough & tough appeal, all thanks to all-around body cladding and chunky skid plates at the front and rear. The new XL6 is offered in six different colour shades. These are Nexa Blue, Brave Khaki, Auburn Red, Magma Gray, Arctic White and Premium Silver.

2020 Maruti Suzuki XL6: Engine and Transmission
The new Maruti Suzuki XL6 is powered by a BS6-compliant 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, K15B petrol engine. This naturally-aspirated petrol motor churns out 105 PS of power at 6000 RPM and 138 Nm of torque at 4400 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission. It also gets Maruti's new advanced Smart Hybrid technology that helps to improve the fuel-efficiency. This hybrid system also has an idle start/stop function, torque assist and brake energy regeneration functionalities. The ARAI-claimed fuel economy of the XL6 Petrol MT is 19.01 kmpl while the XL6 Petrol AT delivers 17.99 kmpl.
2020 Maruti Suzuki XL6: Interiors and Features
The Maruti XL6 is a premium six-seater MPV and so it gets captain seats in the middle-row. The XL6 has a sporty all-black cabin and it is loaded with a plethora of features. Taking the centre stage of the dashboard is Suzukis latest SmartPlay Studio Infotainment System. This 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system is compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Some other features of the XL6 include an engine start/stop button, voice command system, remote keyless entry, navigation support and many more. The safety features of the car include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and Brake Assist, reverse parking sensors with rear parking camera, cruise control, etc.
2020 Maruti Suzuki XL6: Price, Rivals and Verdict
The new 2020 Maruti Suzuki XL6 is sold in India in just two variants: Zeta and Alpha with prices ranging between Rs. 9.84 lakhs Rs. 11.51 lakhs. All prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi. Both the variants of the new XL6 are available with a manual gearbox as well as an automatic transmission. The variant-wise prices of the Maruti XL6 are mentioned in the table below:
