One of the most anticipated launches of 2021 is that of Hyundai Alcazar and now its variants and colour options info has been leaked. The Creta based SUV packs in loads of features and will be available to the Indian market in both 6 and 7-seater options.
While the variants of the Hyundai Alcazar is completely different from Creta, the colour options are quite similar. The upcoming Alcazar will be available in 6 variants namely Signature, Signature (O), Prestige, Prestige (O), Platinum and Platinum (O).

From the table above, the optional variants are reserved for automatic transmission only. The lowermost Signature and Signature(O) are reserved with 6-seater as an option while the Prestige carries the option of both 6 and 7-seat as options.

For the Petrol AT Prestige (O), the Alcazar comes in a 6-seat version whereas the Diesel AT is offered with 7-seats. The second to top Platinum comes with the 7-seat option for the manual engine while the Platinum (O) comes with captain seats in the middle.
Sharing details about the engine specifications then Hyundai Alcazar will be available in two engines - a 2.0L naturally aspirated petrol sourced from Elantra and Tucson and the 1.5-litre, turbocharged diesel engine that is borrowed from the Creta.
The petrol has now been tuned and generates 159 PS/192 Nm while the 1.5L diesel sticks with the same power figures of 115 PS/250 Nm. As per Hyundai, the oil burner gets some tuning to enhance the performance. Both the engines are offered with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox.

The colour options of the Alcazar are as follows - Taiga Brown, Typhoon Silver, Starry Night, Phantom Black, Polar White and Titan Grey. The interior colour scheme will be different from what is offered on the Creta. The cabin follows a cognac brown scheme.
The launch is expected in the third week of June and we believe the prices will stick between Rs 12.50 lakh to Rs 19 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
