Maruti is all set to launch the new 2022 Alto K10 tomorrow and just a day before its official launch, we've got hold of the base variant of the hatchback. Maruti Alto K10 will be offered in eight variants - Std, LXI, LXI(O), VXI, VXI (O), VXI Plus, VXI Plus (O), VXI AGS, VXI (O) AGS, VXI Plus AGS and VXI Plus (O) AGS.
As can be seen in this video, the exterior of the Alto K10 gets body-coloured bumpers, halogen headlight set-up, single-piece grille with mesh pattern to the lower profile. On the sides, notice the steel wheels sans wheel covers, indicators on the fenders, black ORVMs and door handles.

At the rear, you get a squarish-styled taillight design, K10 badging and bumper-mounted number plate set-up. On the inside, you are welcomed by an all-black interior that looks good. It gets fabric upholstery with beige colour observed on the seats.
Here, you get manual HVAC functions, manually controlled windows, a digital instrument cluster, two 12V power sockets, manual IRVM, headlight leveller and more. The front seats get integrated headrests while the rear seats do not get any. Furthermore, there's no parcel tray to cover the cargo space too.

Mechanically, the Alto K10 gets powered by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, DualJet motor. This is the same engine as found in the Celerio and S-Presso too. It generates 66 bhp of power with a peak torque of 89 Nm. This engine gets mated to a five-speed manual transmission as standard and also gets AGS as an option.
